Keep a Close Eye on Credit Cards


	Write "See ID" on the back of your credit cards in the signature line.

	Sign your credit cards with a different signature than your full, legal signature (for example, first initial, last name).

	Carry only those credit cards you absolutely need.

	Keep backup or emergency credit cards in a secure location.

	Ask for carbons at retailers that use old fashioned credit card imprint devices.

	If a receipt includes your full account number, request that the retailer or restaurant black out all but the last four digits on their copy.

	Keep a list of all your credit accounts and bank accounts in a secure place so you can quickly call the issuers to inform them about missing or stolen cards. 	Cancel all unused credit cards and charge accounts.
